CrossFit is one of the world’s most hottest strength and conditioning workout systems today. But will CrossFit really transform your body and your life in ways you can’t imagine.
As one of the fastest growing programs, CrossFit is not a traditional or specialized training program for certain muscles like doing isolated weight lifting, aerobics, or pilates. It has a unique training approach that combines body weight exercises, speed training, strength training, Olympic- and power-style weight lifting, kettle bells, explosive plyometrics, and gymnastics. By combining these explosive exercises, CrossFit targets the primary elements of physical fitness: stamina, strength and endurance, balance, accuracy, cardiorespiratory fitness, coordination, speed, flexibility, and power.
Training with CrossFit requires you to work out 3 to 5 days per week. The workout system is extremely intense and short, lasting about 10 to 20 minutes to complete. The main exercises involves the whole body: running, pushing, squatting rowing, and pulling, which are all done in a circuit format with hardly any rest in between. Sounds like a lot right? No Pain, No Gain!
