Nationally-Recognized HISD Schools

According to US News & World Report magazine, Texas’s Houston Independent School District consist of nine schools that received gold, silver, or bronze medals in U.S. News‘ Best High Schools rankings, and six HISD schools are listed on the nation’s top 400. The magazine rankings are based on a data analysis for almost 22,000 U.S. high schools.

The following list is of the nine HISD schools to earn spots in the magazine’s national rankings.
