According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders in collaboration with the Fugitives Task Force (GCVOFT), including HCSO deputies and the Houston Police Department’s SWAT, apprehended Noe Aranda Thrusday afternoon.
Aranda, was taken into custody on Ridge Hollow Dr. after an investigation by the GCVOFT led them to a residence on that street. Upon arrival, authorities found several other individuals who ran from the home. All were arrested, including Aranda. Aranda, a murder suspect, was taken into custody by the Houston Police Department.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office notes; “This arrest was made thanks to the joint efforts of multiple law enforcement agencies who daily work together to take dangerous, wanted fugitives off the streets.”
The HCSO further added in a statement: “Members of the GCVOFT include the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), U.S. Marshals Service, Houston Police Department (HPD), Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ-OIG), Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), and Harris County Constable Precinct 4.:
