NEW YORK (AP) – Comments on the Houston Texans by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

Chris Berman (ESPN, 6) – Lesson learned, hopefully.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 5) – Brian Cushing‘s absence could seriously hurt their defense.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 4)

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 7) – Saw how much not having Brian Cushing hurt that defense.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 4) – The Texans can get away with playing sloppy against the Jets (on Monday night), but not against the Packers (on Sunday night). Blowout loss at home to Aaron Rodgers brings Houston back to earth. No time for pity, though. Up next: a rematch against Baltimore, which beat the Texans in last year’s playoffs.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 3) – The Texans lead the NFL in time of possession at almost 35 minutes per game.
