HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – A teenager is behind bars after authorities said he threatened to shoot up a school and stream the killings online.
The FBI and Harris County authorities arrested 19-year-old Patrick Hudson Tuesday and charged him with making a terroristic threat.
The FBI said in a statement that they received a tip saying that Hudson was threatening in an Internet chat room to kill elementary school students in Katy.
“What better way to go out with a bang than killing a bunch of little kids,” SS_Patrick posted, according to court documents obtained by the Houston Chronicle.
The posts also stated that he wanted to leave a few of the children alive and asking how to live-stream the shooting on the Internet, the Chronicle reports.
According to KRIV-TV, Hudson told authorities that the posts were a joke.
He appeared in a Harris County court Wednesday and is being held on $100,000 bond.
