Texans’ Rashad Butler Out For Season

Texans offensive tackle Rashad Butler suffered a torn right triceps and will be out for the season.

Last season, Butler tore his left triceps muscle and missed 14 games.

“It’s  a blow because Butler has been in that battle with (T Derek) Newton,” coach Gary Kubiak said. And that guy just seems like it’s one thing after another.”

Tackle Andrew Gardner will replace Butler.

“He had a good camp for us,” Kubiak said. “He’s played some good football in this league, and, obviously he moves up the ladder right there. ”
