Teen Gets 60-Year Prison Term In Girl’s Slaying
HOUSTON (AP) — Jurors have sentenced a 19-year-old Houston-area man to 60 years in prison for the execution-style killing of a 17-year-old girl.
The Harris County jury took less than four hours to decide on Alexander Olivieri’s sentence Thursday.
Prosecutors had told the jury that Olivieri wanted to silence Bridgett Frisbie about his role in a drive-by shooting.
According to trial testimony, he had shot at Frisbie’s ex-boyfriend’s house as a favor to the girl, but Frisbie began to talk about it.
Witness Alan Perez testified he and Olivieri picked up and drove Frisbie to a wooded area under the pretense of having to dig something up. He says Frisbie was digging when Olivieri put a gun to Frisbie’s head and fired.
