HOUSTON (AP) — Houston police have arrested a man accused in the fatal stabbing of his girlfriend at her apartment.

Houston City Jail records show 27-year-old Ronald Deshaun Green was held Tuesday without bond on a murder charge. Online jail records did not list an attorney for Green, who was arrested Monday several hours after the victim was discovered.

The body of 27-year-old Ceceilia Sanders was found by her mother. Police say the victim’s infant daughter was nearby, while her 3-year-old daughter was located in a closet. The older girl was treated for a minor head injury.

Police say Green was the last person seen with Sanders on Sunday afternoon at the apartment.
