TYLER, Texas (AP) — Police say an East Texas man has been accused of sexually assaulting a girl at a club house he made in a wooded area.

Smith County Jail records show 21-year-old Thomas Harold George Brookbank of Tyler has been charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child.

Brookbank was jailed Tuesday with bond set at $750,000. Online jail records did not list an attorney for Brookbank, who was arrested Friday.

Police say the case involves the alleged sexual assault on a 9-year-old girl who lives at the same mobile home park as Brookbank. He allegedly used the homemade club house as a place to assault the girl.

Officer Don Martin said Monday that five children have been identified as alleged victims. Police are trying to determine whether other youngsters were abused.
