It’s difficult to say that Texas Rangers TV analyst Dave Barnett had a brain fart during the broadcast of a game against the Padres on Fox Sports Southwest, but something wasn’t right.

Getting called by your brother’s name for a moment or leaving your phone in the car – those actions seem to be the result of brain farts.

But what happened to Barnett, who referred to the imaginary “fifth” base? Check out the video to hear him talk out of sorts.

It’s not clear if Barnett had been attempting to create a very strange, very far-fetched analogy or if a brain lapse could have occurred as a result of his severe migraines.
