For more than 25 years, the mayor’s official 4th of July celebration, Southwest Freedom Over Texas, has lit the sky over Eleanor Tinsley Park on Buffalo Bayou.

Country music superstars Billy Currington and Sara Evans, presented by Reliant, will perform on Freedom Stage starting at 7pm until 9:30.

Then, the celebration turns to the sky as the event concludes with a magnificent fireworks show over the downtown skyline.

You can listen to the live simulcast on our sister station, 100.3 KILT, during the fireworks show!
