Bar Annie is a great Sunday brunch location housed in a stunning building on Post Oak Boulevard. In 2011, Bar Annie’s was named on the Houston’s Best Chefs menu. It is on the moderately priced with a wide variety of items on the brunch menu, including grilled Gulf shrimp served on a banana leaf, buttermilk donuts and poached eggs with beef rib and tortilla hash. Try some sparkling wine by the glass or indulge in a unique seafood cocktail like the Gulf crab cocktail with jicama and avocado sauce. Reservations may be made online or by phone.

Cullen’s is an upscale restaurant located on the edge of Clear Lake. The brunch, which is only served on Sunday, features $3 Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. Sweet tooths will love the crisp malted Belgium waffles with whipped cream and strawberries and meatlovers must try the steak and eggs. When you finish with brunch, you can head next door to Cullen’s Live which features half-price drinks all days on Sundays.
