HOUSTON (CBS Houston) — Octomom has some company.

Mexican stations are reporting that a woman is set to give birth to nine babies next month. That’s right, nine.

Karla Vanessa Perez, who lives in Coahuila along the Mexico-Texas border, told Mexican television station Notimex that she is due to give birth to nonuplets May 20.

“It’s very early to think of names for the babies,” Perez told the station. “First I hope that everything goes well.”

Televisa reports that Perez underwent fertility treatment that lead to the pregnancy. She is currently being treated at a hospital in Saltillo. She is expected to have six boys and three girls.

In 2009, Nadya Suleman captured the nation’s attention after she gave birth to eight children – six boys and two girls.
