Bob Tallman’s Charities, a 501 (c) 3 organization is pleased to announce its 13th annual Pasture Pool Classic golf tournament to raise money for two select Texas based programs.

This year’s event is slated for Monday, April 30, 2012 at one of Houston’s premiere golf courses, BlackHorse Golf Club located in Cypress, Texas.  Proceeds from this year’s tournament will benefit The Pediatric Programs at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and The J. Pat Evans Research Foundation.

Millions hear Tallman’s voice each year at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and at top rodeos across the United States and Canada. The National Cowboy Hall of Famer and the Voice of Professional Rodeo believes this fund raising effort truly will “give a child a chance at another day of life and prevent injuries that devastate rodeo cowboys”.

“Without our sponsors and all the people that participate, this day would not be possible. Knowing that our efforts from this event will prevent our rodeo cowboys from catastrophic injuries and improve the quality of life for the children at MD Anderson is an exceptional reward.  Join us to help the kids and cowboys”, Tallman said.

For more information about sponsorships, entry fees or how to donate, contact Paige at Bob Tallman’s Charities at 713.977.2250 or send an e-mail to paige@bobtallman.com.
