HOUSTON (CBS Houston) – After five seasons with the Texans, free agent tight end Joel Dreessen has agreed to a deal with the Denver Broncos.

Last season, Dreessen had 28 catches for 353 yards and six touchdowns.

Dreessen, a sixth-round pick out of Colorado State, joined the Texans after one season with the New York Jets before being cut by them and spending the 2006 season out of the league.
