Houston Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow announced the following roster moves: 

Outfielder Fernando Martinez, infielder Jimmy Paredes and right-handed pitcher Aneury Rodriguez were optioned to Triple A Oklahoma City, and left-handed pitcher Xavier Hernandez, right-handed pitcher Jose Valdez and outfielder Brad Snyder were reassigned to minor league camp. 

As a result of the transactions, the Astros now have 41 players remaining on the Spring Training roster.
