Houston Football Announces Spring Schedule

Levine opens spring practices, Spring Game Set for Friday April 13

Head Coach Tony Levine and the Houston Football program announced its 2012 spring football practice schedule on Monday, culminating with a unique Friday night Spring Game on April 13 (7 p.m.) at Robertson Stadium. In addition, Levine also announced that each UH spring practice is open to the public.

Practice times and locations are being finalized and that information will be released at a later date.

Excitement around the UH program continues to build asLevine opened his tenure as head coach with a dominating 30-14 victory overnationally-ranked Penn State in the 2012 TicketCity Bowl in Dallas. In addition, Houston was one of the national storylines in last week’s National Signing Day, inking the top class in Conference USA and signing the first Scout.com “Five Star” player in school history.

Practice for the 2012 spring season begins March 21. The team will host a scrimmage at Robertson Stadium on March 31 at 7 p.m. and asecond scrimmage on April 7. The final event will be the annual Spring Game on April 13 at 7 p.m. That event is free to all fans.
