Report: Rockets To Acquire Pau Gasol; Lose Scola, K-Mart & Dragic

On the eve of NBA free agency, reports about the Rockets have hit fans like a whirlwind. With the likelihood they’ll lose valuable players to trade, the Rockets will reportedly aquire Lakers forward Pau Gasol.

To aquire Gasol, the Rockets will reportedly lose shooting guard Kevin Martin, Luis Scola and Goran Dragic in a three-team trade with the Lakers and the Hornets.

Gasol (7-0, 250) of Spain, joined the Lakers during the 2007-08 season after playing nearly seven seasons for the Grizzlies. During hsi 12-year career, Gasol has averaged 18.8 points, 9.1 rebounds and 35.9 minutes per game. ring his last season with the Lakers, Gasol started in all 82 games and contributed with an average of 18.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 37 minutes per game.
