HOUSTON (CBS Houston) – One of the biggest events of the year for the city of Houston is the 62nd annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. This year’s holiday parade will take place on November 24, 2011 at 9 am.   This event will include fabulous floats , performers, and even balloon characters! Its an event for all ages and keeps getting better every year. 

General admission is free, just find a spot on the parade route!  Reserved seated tickets, called Turkey Seating are available and range in price from $12 to $75. Grand Stand tickets cost $19 each and are located in front of Minute Maid Park, where performers will stop for better viewing.
