The 31st Annual Home for the Holidays Celebration starts now and continues through December 24th, 2011. Admission is free to the festival.
Visitors are invited to view a 30-foot tall Christmas tree and listen to live entertainment at the Spring Historical Museum. Local stores and businesses will be adorned with seasonal decorations and showcasing their unique holiday gift items. There will be complimentary balloons, candy canes, strolling performers, a horse-drawn carriage, holiday light installations, festive exhibits and street vendors peddling kettle corn as part of the Christmas celebration.
Bring your family to experience Hat Trick Exotic Animal Petting Zoo & Pony Rides’ free exotic animal petting zoo. See Buffalo Bill the world’s only miniature American Bison, baby animals alpacas, mini goats, donkeys, a camel and a variety of baby animals available. Pony rides are $4. Have fun feeding the animals from a feed bag for $1.
The petting zoo and pony rides are available Tuesdays through Sundays and ends December 24th.
Don’t miss photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Clause in Santa’s Village. Enjoy a train ride for adults and children.
Bring toys for the Be An Angel Fund Toy Drive and visit the Wreaths Across America fundraiser. Marine Moms and other non-profit organizations will be collecting needed items for U.S. troops.
