Rashad Butler, who filled in at left tackle during Duane Brown’s four-game suspension last season, suffered a torn triceps on Wednesday, an injury that has ended his season and created a depth problem for the Texans.

The Texans have called up two-year veteran Andrew Gardner (6-6, 308) and have signed Cody Wallace to replace him on the practice squad.
Gardner joined the team near the end of training camp and was signed to a two-year deal.
