Dr. Terry Grier, Houston School District Superintendent, and Arne Duncan, Secretary of Education, will announce a national plan to procure new educational technology for HISD schools on Friday, Sept. 16.

Dr. Grier was invited to join a group of superintendents, from around the country, because HISD has demonstrated itself as a district willing to be innovative in its approach to public school education.

The location of the announcement will be at Eisenhower Executive Office Building, South Court Auditorium, Pennsylvania Ave and 17th street, N.W., in Washington D.C.
