Although there’s no end to the NBA lockout in sight, Rockets season tickets are now available. Don’t fear losing money if games are missed. The Rockets offer two plans to ensure their fans won’t lose a penny if the lockout forces teams to lose games.
Season ticket holders may choose the standard option of a full refund for any canceled games. In addition to the refund amount, the Rockets will pay out a 1-percent annual interest rate for any trouble caused by canceling games.
The second option is the Rockets Loyalty Plan, which has been chosen by approximately 80 percent of the team’s season ticket holders.
The value of any canceled games will be applied toward your 2012 playoffs or 2012-13 season tickets. In addition, a 5-percent loyalty credit will be applied toward your account for future use. This loyalty credit can be used for purchases at any future Rockets games – merchandise, concessions, 2012 playoffs, 2012-13 season tickets, suite rentals – as well as to select third-party events held at Toyota Center, based on availability.
So while discussions between the league and the players seem to be at a stalemate, purchasing season tickets is still a safe move.
If purchased through an account executive, the Rockets offer payment plans for tickets. Season tickets are also available online with payment in full. For tickets, call 713-627-DUNK.
