Wildfires threaten Plantersville’s businesses and residential areas.

Locals wonder will the Renaissance Festival  fall victim to the advancing wildfires. The property that used to hold the festival is, currently,  serving as an evacuation center.

Circumstances are growing severe enough that emergency crews and state troopers are insisting immediate evacuation.

Jerry Saunders  and Kenneth Anderson were suddenly evacuated from their homes. State troopers forcibly evacuated Jerry Saunders,  just as flames could be seen coming toward his residence. Kenneth Anderson quickly evacuated his family and belongings after seeing the wildfires had become too close for comfort.
