 Heat advisory, ozone and air quality alerts have been issued for the Houston and Galveston areas.

 The temps are expected to get as high as 105  and  the low tonight will still be warm at 76.  The hottest part of the day is expected to hit at noon and last till 7  this evening. Take precautions and keep children and seniors someplace cool. If you have to be outside take frequent breaks, keep hydrated and keep cool.

An ozone watch was issued by the Texas Commision on Environmental Quality for Houston, Brazoria and Galveston. Ozone Pollution will be higher than usual.  Populations suffering from asthma, emphysema and various other respiratory ailments should stay in an air conditioned indoor area.  It will be safer to resume outdoor activities later this evening.
