All the Nnamdi Asomugha conversation and hype is done, at least for Houston fans. The Texans went in another direction and have agreed to terms of a five-year deal with cornerback Johnathan Joseph.

Joseph’s deal is worth $48.75 million and $23.5 million guaranteed, including a $12.5 million signing bonus, according to a Chron.com report bySportsRadio 610’s John McClain.

A first-round draft choice out of South Carolina, Joseph has played hie entire five-year career for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Conerback has been an obvious void for the Texans, who finished last season 30th in defense and last against the pass.

Last season, Joseph, 27, finished the season with three interceptions and 42 tackles. Check out the Johnathan Joseph highlight video.
