Derek Jeter got his 3,000th hit of his career over the weekend. He joined the 3,000 Hits Club in style by turning a 3-2 pitch into a home run to the left-field stands.

Christian Lopez is the lucky fan who caught the ball that is estimated to be worth $400,000.

Lopez returned the ball to Jeter and was awarded

Lopez was rewarded with four front-row Legends seats for the remainder of the season, including the postseason, along with three bats and three balls signed by Jeter, plus two autographed jerseys.
