Derek Jeter got his 3,000th hit of his career over the weekend. He joined the 3,000 Hits Club in style by turning a 3-2 pitch into a home run to the left-field stands.

Christian Lopez is the lucky fan who caught the ball that is estimated to be worth $400,000.

Lopez returned the ball to Jeter and was awarded

Lopez was rewarded with four front-row Legends seats for the remainder of the season, including the postseason, along with three bats and three balls signed by Jeter, plus two autographed jerseys.

This bring us to the J&R Poll of the Day.
