College Player Breaks Aluminum Bat

I don’t mind the ding sound of the aluminum bats in college baseball, and they certainly seem safer than the wooden bats that break and send shards of wood flying at pitchers and infielders.

It turns out aluminum bats can break, too.

Florida Gators catcher Mike Zunino broke his aluminum bat during at bat versus Vanderbilt in the college world series.
