Recipe For Watermelon Beer Popsicles

It’s hot outside. It’really hot. And it’s certainly too hot to go sit outside with my usual glass of dry red wine. Watermelon Beer Popsicles sounds just about perfect to beat the heat with something cold and alcoholic.

With summer time upon us, there’s not a better time to experiment with homemade beer popsicles.

This recipe makes about 12 small pops, but it’s easily doubled if you need more treats.

Try this for a cool summer drink:

    “The Summer Blood Orange”
    2oz Kettle One Oranje Vodka
3oz Fresh Squeezed (or frozen) Blood Orange Juice
    1/2oz Cointreau (or Triple Sec)
    Squeeze of Fresh Lime
Serve over ice in short glass, optional garnish of sliced orange

You can also order these and a fantastic meal at “REEF” restaurant in mid-town Houston
