The Texans could offer their first-, third- and fourth-round picks along with and defensive tackle Amobi Okoye for No. 2 overall selection.

A move so drastic is what is would take for the Texans to be able to move up in the draft to select Texas A&M linebacker Von Miller or LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson.

SportsRadio 610’s John McClain told fans in a chat on Chron.com that a trade up for Peterson is more likely:

“If they trade up to get Peterson, they might not have to offer so much if he drops to Arizona at 5 or San Francisco at 7. … They want Miller first, and if they can’t trade up to get him, they’ll try to trade to get Peterson if he falls.”
