Johnathan Gray, one of the top high school running backs in the country in the class of 2012, will wear burnt orange a year from now.  The junior from Aledo, Tx, flashed the hook ‘em sign as he picked the Longhorns over the Aggies and Horned Frogs during Friday’s announcement on his 18th birthday. 

 Gray is considered one of the most productive running backs in Texas high school football history.  He was named the Texas Gatorade Player of the Year in 2011 after rushing for 3,183 yards and 59 touchdowns in his junior season.  In his three seasons at Aledo, he has totaled 6,822 yards and 124 rushing touchdowns.
