SportsRadio 610 is hosting it’s first-ever Paper Football Championships on April 22 in Sugar Land. The winner of the 64-player bracket will take home $1,000 cash!

You probably know all about paper football. Remeber getting griped at by your English teacher for flicking the little paper footballs in class? We sure do.

If you don’t know anything about paper football, then here’s the dorky Wikipedia description:

Paper football (also called FIKI Football, Finger football, Chinese football, Biren football or Flick football) refers to a table-top game, loosely based on American football, in which a sheet of paper folded into a small triangle is slid back and forth across a table top by two opponents. This game is widely practiced, generally by boys of primary and middle school age in the United States, as an informal recreation.

Got it? Great! Now let’s do this.

The deadline for entry is Tuesday, Apr. 19 at 11 p.m. Sixty-four regestrants will be selected at random to participate in the event. Ten alternates will also be chosen.

The selected 64 participants must check in at the event location between 6 and 6:45 p.m. on Friday with the confirmation email and a photo ID. Your spot will be forfeited in you do not check in by 6:45.
