NBA AND NFL STARS MATCH UP IN CELEBRITY HORSE COMPETITION
Thursday night event will tip-off Bracket Town

WHAT:                       

It is helmets vs. hoops as Clyde Drexler and Robert Horry team up against Desmond Howard and Antonio Gates in a celebrity HORSE competition on the Buick Center Court at Bracket Town benefitting DonorsChoose.org.

 The NCAA®, in celebration of the Final Four®, is working together with DonorsChoose.org on a new partnership called Fund the Future—a program that puts academic and athletic supplies back into the hands of teachers and students.  A check presentation to DonorsChoose.org will lead the activities for the evening. 
                                   
DonorsChoose.org will use the funds to bring classroom materials to the following Houston area schools:  Best Elementary School, Chancellor Elementary School, Collins Elementary School, Edison Middle School, Jackson Middle School, Deady Middle School, Fonville Middle School, Hamilton Middle School, Fondren Middle School, Dowling Middle School, Hogg Middle School and Sharpstown Middle School. Students from the participating schools will be at the event cheering on their favorite player!

 COST:                    $10 (ages 12 and over)
                                    $6 (ages 3-11, college students*, senior citizens (55 and older), and military*)
                                    Free (ages 2 and under)
                                    *Appropriate ID required.

                                    Tickets may also be purchased at the George R. Brown Convention Center box office on
                                    event days only. Additional fees apply for online and phone purchases.
