The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest experienced record crowds, breaking the 2010 attendance record of 221,229 people. More than 400 barbecue teams participated in the 2011 World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, Feb. 24 – Feb. 26.
Champions were named in several categories. The 2011 winners were:
