Houston Mayor Annise Parker, who took office in January of last year, has paid a $200 fine over campaign finance reports when she city controller.
The Texas Ethics Commission determined that Parker failed to properly disclose $157 in expenditures on a 2008 campaign finance report and incorrectly described an $85 expense.
A spokeswoman for Parker says the mayor, who was fined this week, has corrected the report, according to The Houston Chronicle.
