Investigators say a deputy was forced to shoot a man several times outside a northwest Harris County home after a rifle was pointed toward deputies.
Harris County Sheriff’s deputies arrived after 2 a.m. Monday to the home on Bycreek Drive near Waycreek Road in response to a call about a disturbance.
Deputies say a man was inside the home with several adult relatives and one child when he began to threaten them with a high-caliber rifle.
The suspect was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital following the shooting. No deputies were hurt in the shooting.
