Idol Across America Makes A Stop In Houston Wednesday

This Wednesday, the Idol Across America bus tour will make a at the Farmers Market outside Houston City Hall featuring several special guests. Houston Mayor Annise Parker, Houston City Councilman James Rodriguez, and Danny Trace, executive chef at Brennan’s of Houston, will welcome the Idol Across America tour to Houston.
Anyone over the age of 15 will have the opportunity to record their own version of the phrase “This is American Idol,” made famous by Ryan Seacrest and enter a nationwide contest for a chance to win a trip to Hollywood to deliver the famous line on stage alongside Seacrest.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in the Be Your Own Idol singing experience and pose for photos alongside life-size standees of Seacrest and judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.
The biodiesel-fueled bus will also travel to 15 other cities across the U.S. over a four-week period.
