Fire Chief Terry Garrison will give the Oath of Office to 46 new Houston firefighters during a graduation ceremony tonight at 7pm at the George R. Brown Convention Center, General Assembly, Section B (1001 Ave De Las Americas).

The members of Class 2010-A, which includes two female trainees, will graduate from the Houston Fire Department’s Training Academy after eight months of training. This training included three members from this class that will also be honored for leadership, academics and physical fitness.

There are four additional classes set to graduate later this year, including one “fast-track” class.
